Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multidisciplinary creative projects across graphic design, animation, video editing, web design, and web development from planning and sprint management to QA and final delivery

  • Break down projects into tasks, set realistic timelines, and assign work across the team

  • Estimate how long tasks/projects will take and identify risks before they cause delays

  • Test website deliverables thoroughly, checking for bugs, broken links, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

  • Review graphic design deliverables for brand consistency, layout, typography, visual hierarchy, alignment, spacing, and export quality.

  • Review video deliverables for timing, pacing, transitions, motion quality, audio levels, subtitles, spelling, aspect ratios, and export settings across intended platforms.

  • Review web design deliverables for UX, UI consistency, responsiveness, accessibility, design specifications, and developer handoff readiness.

  • Compare finished work across design, video, and web projects against approved briefs, concepts, and revisions to catch inconsistencies before client delivery.

  • Review and organize source files to ensure they are complete, properly named, correctly structured, version-controlled, and ready for future edits, handoff, or archival.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients. This includes attending and leading client meetings.

  • Take client requirements and feedback and translate them clearly for the design/dev team

  • Proactively update clients regularly on progress, roadblocks, and next steps, including a weekly progress report

  • Coordinate between design, development, and other departments so everyone stays aligned

  • Do research when needed, competitor examples, tools, or best practices to support decisions

  • Lead the team through each sprint, keeping tasks on track and holding people accountable

THIS ROLE IS NOT A GOOD FIT IF YOU:

  • Wait for instructions instead of taking initiative.

  • Avoid difficult conversations or struggle to set realistic expectations with clients.

  • Prioritise keeping everyone happy over finding practical, win-win solutions.

  • Find it difficult to say no or confidently recommend better alternatives.

  • Prefer to follow rather than lead client meetings and drive decisions.

  • Avoid taking ownership of projects, decisions, and outcomes.

  • Act as a messenger instead of a trusted advisor who provides strategic recommendations.

  • Lack the confidence or experience to represent the creative team's expertise to clients.

  • Lack experience working with international clients or aren't fluent in professional conversational English.

  • Don't have a reliable camera, clear microphone, stable internet connection, or a professional meeting environment.

  • Let ego get in the way of collaboration, feedback, or the team's success.

  • Struggle to stay organised, capture meeting minutes, or follow through on action items.
