About You
You are a results-driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager who knows how to turn opportunities into revenue.
You have a strong sales mindset and are comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
You can sell both agency services to businesses and influencer talent to brands, understanding what each side needs to build a successful partnership.
You have a strong understanding of influencer marketing, brand partnerships, and the creator economy, with the ability to identify opportunities that generate measurable business growth.
You are commercially minded, confident in negotiations, and able to make decisions based on revenue potential, profitability, and long-term value.
You are proactive, organised, and self-managed, with the discipline to maintain a consistent sales pipeline and follow through without constant supervision.
You enjoy building relationships, creating new opportunities, and turning one-time deals into long-term partnerships.
You are comfortable working closely with leadership to develop sales strategies and help build a sustainable, predictable revenue stream.
You want to run a sales function eventually. You are taking a hands-on role because the only way to lead one here is to have built it, and you are patient enough to do that properly first.
About the Role
As Business Development Manager you own new revenue.
You sell two different things to two different buyers: agency services such as design, web, content and social to business buyers, and influencer talent to brands looking for the right creator. For both you run the full cycle, from prospecting and cold outreach through pitching, negotiating margins and terms, to closing and renewing.
You also build the machinery. The pipeline, the CRM, the outreach templates and the weekly reporting do not exist yet, so you set them up as you sell.
You will work alongside the Social Media Growth Specialist and Community Engagement Specialist to shape offerings that are commercially sound and deliverable within the team’s capacity. You sell it. They deliver it. You make sure the two match before anything is signed.
This role is built to grow into Head of Sales. The only way to lead the function here is to have built it first.
This Role is not a Good Fit if You
Prefer managing existing accounts over actively prospecting for new business and closing deals.
Are uncomfortable with cold outreach, follow-ups, rejection, or negotiating commercial terms.
Need frequent reminders or close supervision to meet targets and manage your pipeline.
Focus on securing deals without considering profitability, margins, or long-term business value.
Struggle to communicate professionally with clients, brand managers, marketing teams, and senior stakeholders.
Prefer working with established processes rather than building and improving sales systems from the ground up.
Have difficulty managing multiple opportunities, tracking sales performance, or maintaining accurate records.
Are looking for a role focused mainly on relationship management rather than revenue generation and measurable results.

Relevant professional certifications in business development, sales, marketing, or management are a plus.
Experience
At least 5 years in business development, agency sales, or partnerships

Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing, deliverables, and partnership terms.
Existing relationships with UK-based brand managers, marketing agencies, PR teams, or other relevant decision-makers.
